Configuration Services

It's not what you've got, it's what you do with it.

Once installed, your IT systems shouldn't require constant attention (if they do, something is wrong, and not necessarily with the system), but they may sometimes require changing to meet the changing needs of your business. You may have expanded or contracted your employee base, added a new product or service to your portfolio, or relocated your business. Any of these changes will probably require some changes to your IT systems to meet your changing needs.

Based on over 10 years experience of systems configuration in businesses of all sizes, the following configuration services are available;

  • Desktop system configuration. Configuration of the operating system (Apple Mac OS X, Windows XP and Windows Vista), or desktop applications.
  • Server system configuration. Configuration of the operation system (Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008), including Active Directory administration, configuration of Microsoft Exchange Server, ISA Server, IIS and Sharepoint.
  • Network hardware configuration. Configuration of routers and switches including 2Wire (BT), 3Com, Belkin, Linksys and Netgear.

I have been running IT systems since 1994, and operate my own Microsoft Small Business Server network with a 2Wire router, HP Proliant ML310 server, and Windows and Mac OS X clients. My network hosts my email and website, and currently has an uptime of 99.74% (results based on HostTracker website monitoring service).
